IS 10075 : 1981 Specification for Start relay and overload protector for resistance start induction run hermetic compressors

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements of start relay andoverload protector assembled either as a composite unit or mountedseparately outside the compressor shell.

1.2 This standard is applicable only to start relay and overloadprotector used in conjunction with hermetic compressor which hassplit phase resistance start-induction run motor (RSIR).
