IS 10180 : 1982 Method for plain strain fracture toughness testing of metals

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the method of determining the planestrain fracture toughness (K_IC)of metals by bend or tension test of a single edge notched, testpiece of at least 6.5 mm thickness.
