IS 101 : Part 1 : Sec 5 : 2024 Methods of Sampling and Test for Paints, Varnishes and Related Products - Part 1 Tests on Liquid Paints (General and Physical) - Section 5 Consistency
1 SCOPE
This standard prescribes three methods for determining the dynamic viscosity of paints and related products. The methods are:
a) Flow cup method;
b) Cone and plate or concentric cylinder viscometer method; and
c) Stromer viscometer method.
