NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 1/Sec 8) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 787-9 : 2019 ‘General methods of test for pigments and extenders - Part 9: Determination of pH value of an aqueous suspension’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Paints, Varnishes and Related Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
This Indian Standard was originally published in 2015 by adopting ISO 787-9 : 1981. The first revision of this Standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 787-9 : 2019.
