This Indian Standard (Part 1) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 8733 : 1997 ‘Parallel pins with internal thread, of unhardened steel and austenitic stainless steel’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Bolts, Nuts and Fasteners Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
