IS 10292 : 1988 Dimensional requirements for rubber sealing rings for C.I.D. joints in asbestos cement piping

1 Scope

Specifies the dimensional requirements for rubber sealing ringsto be used with cast iron detachable joints conforming to IS8794-1978 `Specification for cast iron detachable joints for usewith asbestos cement pressure pipes' for joining the asbestoscement pressure pipes conforming to IS 1592-1980 `Specification forasbestos cement pressure pipes'.

1.1 This standard covers the dimensions of rubber sealing ringshaving circular cross section only, up to 600 mm nominal diameter.
