IS 10314 : 1982 Dimensions for ceramic bushings for terminals

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the dimensions for ceramic bushingsrequired for insulating the terminals of electrical equipment, suchas rotating machines and power capacitors.

1.2 This standard covers the ceramic bushings far flameproofenclosures also.

1.3 Ceramic bushiqgs covered in that standard are only theinsulating inserts. Metallic terminal studs and fastners shall beselected according to the requirements of the rotating machinespower capacitors.
