1. Scope

This standard prescribes a method of measurement of air flow and free air delivery of positive displacement compressors and exhausters, both reciprocating and rotary types.

1.1 This standard deals with measurement of air flow by using standard flow nozzle in order to obtain consistent and generally acceptable results, within a specified tolerance.

1.2 This standard-does not deal with the compressors, giving a pressure rise of less than 00 I MPa and greater than 6 MPa.
