NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 128-1 : 2020 ‘Technical product documentation (TPD) — General principles of representation — Part 1: Introduction and fundamental requirements’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Drawings Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2006 as identical adoption of ISO 128-1 : 2003. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 128-1.
