NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 3) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 6410-3 : 2021 ‘Technical drawings — Screw threads and threaded parts — Part 3: Simplified representation’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Drawings Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 1999 as identical adoption of ISO 6410-3 : 1993. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 6410-3.
