This Indian Standard (Part 1), which is identical with ISO2162-1 : 1993 `Technical product documentation - Springs - Part 1:Simplified representation' issued by the International Organizationfor Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendation of Drawings Sectional Committee andapproval of Light Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
