This Indian Standard (Part 4) which is identical with ISO3952/4-1984 `Kinematic diagrams - Graphical symbols - Part 4'issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO),was adopted by the Indian Standards Institution on therecommendation of the Drawings Sectional Committee and approval ofthe Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

Wherever the words `International Standard' appear, referring tothis standard, they should be read as `Indian Standard'.
