IS 1077 : 2025 Common Burnt Clay Building Bricks - Specification
1 SCOPE
This standard lays down requirements for classification, general quality, dimensions and physical requirements of common burnt clay building bricks used in buildings.
NOTE - Only burnt clay bricks having compressive strength less than 40 N/mm2 are covered in this standard; for higher strength bricks, see IS 2180 : 2025 'Specification for heavy duty burnt clay building bricks' (fourth revision).
