1 Scope

1.1 This test method describes procedure for determining therelative flammability of materials used in electric cables bymeasuring the minimum concentration of oxygen in a mixture ofoxygen and nitrogen that will just support flaming combustion. Thismethod is at present limited to the use of physically selfsupporting test specimens.
