1 Scope

Prescribes unified colour diagrams of the outside painting andthe identification marking of pilot craft to permit theiridentification in heavy weather.

1.1 This standard applies to pilot craft used in closed watersestuaries and open roadsteads to bring and take off pilots tomerchant ships.

1.2 The applicability of requirements of this standard to pilotcraft navigating under a navy flag shall e determined by thecompetent authority.
