This Indian Standard, which is identical with IEC Pub 118-5 :1983 `Hearing aids Part 5 : Nipples for insert earphones' issued bythe International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), was adopted bythe Indian Standards Institution on the recommendation of AcousticsSectional Committee and approved by the Electronics andTelecommunication Division Council.
