IS 10920 : 1984 Code of safety for phosphorus trichloride

1 Scope

1.1 This code describes properties of phosphorus trichloride,nature of hazards associated with it, symptoms of poisoning,measures for first-aid and medical treatment, safety measures forcontrolling hazards in storage, handling and transport,decontamination of containers and spillage, and requirements forsafety education of employees in industry.

1.2 This code does not deal with specifications for design ofbuildings, containers, chemical engineering and safety equipmentsand methods of manufacture.
