This Indian Standard, which is identical with ISO 3307 : 1975`Information interchange - Representations of time of the day,issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO),was adopted by the Indian Standards Institution on therecommendation of the Computers, Business Machines and CalculatorsSectional Committee and approved by the Electronics andTelecommunication Division Council.

Wherever the words `International Standard appear, referring tothis standard, they should be read as `Indian Standard.
