This Indian Standard, which is identical with ISO 2306-1972 `Drills for use prior to tapping screw threads', issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Indian Standards Institution on the recommendation of the SmallTools Sectional Committee and approved by the Engineering Divisioncouncil.
