IS 10979 : 1984 Powder resins for use in shell process in foundries

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for powder resincontaining catalyst (hexamin) for use in production of shell coresor moulds in foundry using powder resin coated sand.

1.1.1 For the purpose of this standard powder resin shall bephenol formaldehyde type suitable for shell process.
