Revised Standard from Last Update.

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 6005 : 2019 ‘Alpine skis - Ski binding screws - Test methods’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Mountaineering and Adventure Sports Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 1987 based on ISO 6005 : 1981 ‘Alpine skis - Ski binding screw - Test methods’. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 6005 : 2019.

The major changes in this revision are as follows:

a) normative references (2) are updated;

b) terms and definitions have been added;

c) designation has been updated;

d) conditions for preparation of test assembly has been modified; and

e) format for test report has been given.
