IS 11092 : 2001 Iron Ore Pellets for Direct Reduction Processes - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the specification of iron ore pelletsfor both solid and gaseous reductant based direct reductionprocesses for production of sponge iron to be used in theproduction of steel in electric arc furnace, oxygen steel and othersteel making processes, etc.

1.2 Requirements covered in this standard shall be met at thepoint of receipts, unless it is stated otherwise.
