1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard specifies different types of rubber gaskets, their characteristics and applications.
1.2 The standard is divided in 2 sections as follows:
a) Section I - Rubber gaskets of five different types for various applications. Each type is divided into a number of classes in different hardness ranges; and
b) Section II - Foam rubber gaskets of different material for various applications.
2 REFERENCES
The standards listed in Annex A contain provisions which through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent edition of the standards.
