IS 11211 : 1984 Methods of sampling rock phosphate

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the procedure for collection andpreparation of samples from a lot of rock phosphate in order todetermine the size distribution, moisture content and chemicalcomposition of the mineral in the lot. Sampling of rock phosphatefrom conveyor belt, trucks, wagons and also from stock piles havebeen described. This standard is primarily intended for manualsampling.

1.2 This standard also prescribes a method for reporting thequality of the lot sampled.
