1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 3) covers a method for determining thethermal endurance of insulating varnishes by evaluating the bondstrength of a thin film of insulating varnish on a helical coil bymeasuring the changes in the strength of dried film of varnish asaffected by ageing at elevated temperature.
