IS 11282 : 2000 Guidelines for Laboratory Pot-grate Sintering Tests for Iron Ore Fines

1 Scope

This standard gives the guidelines for the method for sinteringtests in the laboratory using a pot-grate unit and is applicablefor sintering of iron ore fines. These guidelines have beenformulated to facilitate comparison of test data from variousorganizations on the same sinter mix. For individual organizations,the parameter may be varied, as required.
