1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements of portable bridgeinsulation testers (hand operated) enclosing in the same case agenerator having a rated voltage of 100 volts or more

1.1.1 The scope of this standard is confined to hand-operatedbridge insulation resistance testers. Mains-operated andmotor-driven bridge insulation resistance testers may have tocomply with additional requirements which do not form part of thisstandard.
