NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119-1 : 2022 ‘Software and systems engineering - Software testing – Part 1: General concepts’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Software and System Engineering Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.

This Indian Standard is identical with ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119-1 : 2022 ‘Software and systems engineering -Software testing – Part 1: General concepts'. This standard consists of 4 parts. The other parts are:
