IS 11292 : 1985 Determination of relative reducibility of iron oxides:lump ore,sinter and pellets

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the method for the determination ofrelative reducibility of iron oxides; lump ores, sinters andpellets. The test is to be conducted under specific conditions, forexample, isothermal reduction, reduction in a fixed bed, reductionby means of carbon monoxide and nitrogen mixture, and a samplehaving a specified size range.
