1 Scope
1.1 This standard prescribes gas chromatographic (GLC) methodsusing alkali flame-ionization detector (AFID), and electron capturedetector (ECD) for the determination of phosalone [O,O-diethyl-S-(6-chlorobenzoxaznlone-3-yl)-methyl phosphorodithioate]residues in food commodities.
1.1.1 The minimum limit of determination of phosalone residuesusing alkali flame-ionization detector is 0.1 �g/gwhile it is 0.05 �g/g with electron capturedetector.
