1 SCOPE

This standard lays down the method for conducting anchor pull-out test in rock and the evaluation of bond strength between anchor and grout or grout and rock.

 NOTES

 1 This method assumes that diameter of the bore in rock throughout the length of anchor is uniform and cement mortar density around the anchor and throughout the length of anchor is also uniform.

 2 Grouting is either done by cement mortar or with resin. It assumes that grouting is uniform throughout its length.

 3 The number of test conducted is as per the agreement. In absence of that minimum 10 percent of the sample should be tested for design and minimum 2 percent sample should be tested for proof check, or as per the agreement.
