1 Scope

Specifies dimensions and other requirements for adjustable clampsupports to be used with following types of clamp and clamp plate:

Swing clamps according to IS 5250 : 1984 `Specification forswing clamps' wide clamp plates according to IS 5252 : 1984`Specification for wide clamp plates', parallel sided clamp platesaccording to IS 5998 : 1984 `Specification for parallel sided clampplates and slotted clamps according to IS 6082 : 1985`Specification for slotted clamps.
