NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC 60152 : 2021 ‘Designation of phase differences by hour numbers in three-phase AC systems’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Basic Electrotechnical Standards and Power Quality Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard was first published in 1985. This revision has been undertaken to take into consideration the developments that have taken place subsequently and also to align with the latest version of IEC 60152 : 2021.
