This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 5358 : 1992`Anaesthetic machines for use with humans issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of theAnaesthetic, Resuscitation and Allied Equipment Sectional Committee(MHD 13) and approval of the Medical Equipment and HospitalPlanning Division Council.
