0.1 As the pot cores are extensively used in equipment with printed circuits, an urgent need has been left to standardize the mounting accessories of pot cores for printed circuit board mountings, Keeping this in view, it is proposed that dimensions of mounting accessories of pot cores of various sizes as given in IS : 6235-1971 ‘Dimensions of pot cores made of ferromagnetic oxides and associated parts’, for printed circuit board mountings, would be covered in a series of standards.
