IS 11395 : 1985 Tape wrapped round copper wires with temperature index of 220

1 Scope

1.1 This standard relates to polyimide tape wrapped roundconductors suitable for temperature index 220.

1.2 The tape shall be coated with a suitable adhesive (forexample, FEP). After wrapping, the tape shall be heat sealed toform a continuous and adherent sheath. It should be coated withadhesive on one side only.

1.3 The requirements of the standard are applicable to conductorsizes from 1.0 mm to 5.0 mm diameter.
