1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 2) covers methods of tests for one-partgun-grade polysulphide-based sealants used in sealing or glazingapplications in buildings and structures. The tests on followingproperties have been covered in this standard:

a) Rheological properties,

b) Recovery,

c) Mass loss after heat ageing,

d) Staining,

e) Cyclic adhesion,

f) Adhesion in peel,

g) Adhesion in peel after sunlamp irradiation through glass, and

h) Adhesion after heat ageing.
