IS 11447 : 1985 Code of practice for construction with large panel prefabricates

1 Scope

1.1 This code deals with the design, structural analysis ofmembers and buildings constructed with large panel prefabricates.

1.2 The requirements given in this code shall be applied in thedesign of precast units made of plain, reinforced and lightweightconcrete and in the design of apartment and public utilitybuildings with these units.

1.3 Special requirements of panels for walls, facades, sanitarycode and staircase, etc, used in large panel construction are notcovered in this code.
