IS 11460 : 1985 Code of Practice for Fire Safety of Libraries and Archives

1 Scope

1.1 This code covers the fire safety and fire protectionmeasures of libraries and archives required after the constructionof structure according to IS 1553 : 1976 and IS 2663 : 1977.

1.2 This code does not cover fire safety aspects of librariesfor special classes of users, such as library for the blind, fieldlibrary (military), etc.
