IS 11535 : 1986/ISO 2164 - 1975 : Method of test for determination of glycosidic hydrocyanic acid in pulses

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard, which is identical with ISO 2164 - 1975 ‘Pulses - Determination of rlycosidic hydrocyanic acid’, issued by the International Organization for Standardization ( IS0 ), was Idopted by the Indian Standards Institution on the recommendation of the Foodgrains and Foodgrain ndustries Sectional Committee and approved by the Agricultural and Food Products Division Council.

In the adopted standard, certain terminology and conventions are not identical with those used in Indian Standards, attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Comma ( , ) has been used as decimal marker, while in Indian Standards the current practice is to use full point ( . ) as decimal marker; and

b) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.
