IS 11549 : 1986 Impregnating oils and compounds for paper insulated cables upto 33 kV

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies requirements and methods of testsfor impregnating oils and compounds used for manufacture of PILCcables up to 33 kV.

1.2 The impregnants covered in this standard are of This twotypes:

a) draining type oils, and

b) non-draining compounds.

1.3 This standard does not cover the requirements coolants inhollow core cables.
