NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 5771 : 2008 ‘Rubber hoses and hose assemblies for transferring anhydrous ammonia - Specification’, issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation(s) of the Rubber and Rubber Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.

This standard was first published in 1986 and considerable assistance was derived from ISO 5771 Rubber hose and hose assemblies for transferring anhydrous ammonia during the preparation of the standard.
