NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical to IEC 60779:2020 "Installations for electroheating and electromagnetic processing - Test methods for electroslag remelting furnaces" issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Industrial Process Measurement and Control Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
