1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers positive list of constituents ofethylene/acrylic acid (EAA) copolymers, manufacturing residues andnecessary additives which may be regarded as safe for use whenproperly processed, in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals anddrinking water, When present only in the prescribed limits ofconcentrations.

1.2 It does not purport to establish suitability of ingredients,singly and in a particular foodstuff from other than toxicologicalconsiderations.
