1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard covers the general requirements for stitching machines designed for operation by electric motor for industrial purposes for closing small, medium and large size bags of jute, cotton, burlap, multiwall paper and synthetic materials.

1.1.1 This standard covers the requirement of bag closing machines consisting of stitching head, drive motor, supporting structure and controls for continuous heavy duty industrial application.
