IS 11756 : 1986 Method of test for co-efficients of friction of plastic film and sheeting for use as electrical insulation

1 Scope

1.1 This method covers determination of the coefficients ofstarting and sliding friction of plastic film and sheeting whensliding over itself or other substances under specified testconditions. The coefficient of friction values for a given samplewill yield the same values by the use of a stationary sled with amoving plane or a moving sled with a stationary plane.
