This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 4389 : 2000`Tobacco and tobacco products - Determination of organochlorinepesticide residues - Gas chromatographic method' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theTobacco and Tobacco Products Sectional Committee and approval ofthe Food and Agriculture Division Council.
