IS 11840 : 1986 Specification for Polyvinyl Alcohol for Textile Industry

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies requirements for six types ofpolyvinyl alcohol used in textile industry depending upon thedegree of hydrolysis and viscosity.

1.1.1 These types have been further classified into twoviscosity grades depending upon the viscosity of polyvinyl alcoholused in textile industry.
