NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Second Revision) which is identical to ISO 11859 : 2004 ‘Agricultural tractors - Test procedures - Turning and clearance diameters ’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Agriculture Machinery and Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.

This standard was first published in 1986 and was based on ISO 789-3 : 1982. In 2004, the standard was first revised taking assistance from ISO 789-3 : 1993. The second revision of the standard has been undertaken to harmonize with the latest version of ISO 789-3 published in 2015 and is an identical adoption of the ISO standard under dual numbering.
