NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 464 : 2015 ‘Rolling bearings - Radial bearings with locating snap ring - Dimensions, Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) and tolerance values’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Bearings Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 1987 and subsequently revised in 1999. First revision was based on ISO 464 : 1995 ‘Rolling bearings - Radial bearings with locating snap ring - Dimensions and tolerances’, issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The Second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 464.
